This is the Ninth post from Chapter 8 of Friends With God: God’s Friendship With Israel And The Church, in which we are exploring the similarities and differences between the Old and New Covenants.
I am a circumcised gentile and would have it no other way. There are arguments for health that believe circumcision makes it easier to clean yourself and those who believe circumcision is genital mutilation.
My post is all about the difference between the two covenants, circumcision being the most obvious and discussed point in scripture and helps us to identify that there is very little difference between them, and that it is possible to be in the Old and New Covenant at the same time without contradiction to either covenant.
However, nowhere in scripture is the cleanness or other implications of circumcision mentioned. my post is not about physical circumcision, I never discuss it as it is not relevant.
