In regards to persecution and saving the lives of our brothers and sisters I always think of the example of Rahaab whom sent the spies a different way to protect God's people.
Yes, I will address that in one of the future posts on this topic.
Rahaab was not an Israelite at the time, but it showed that she feared God and was willing to risk her life to save the spies.
