Religious Syncretism

It all goes off with a bang and sparkles, but is this what God wants?

With the Sun Worshipers New Year Celebration over for another 12 months, with thousands of millions of dollars gone up in smoke and flames, we need to ask “Is this what God wants us to be doing?”

And by this we know that we have known Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, I have known Him, and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
But whoever keeps His Word, truly in this one the love of God is perfected.
By this we know that we are in Him.
He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk even as He walked.
(1John 2:3-6)

Syncretism is the mixing of religious truth with pagan foolishness- which is what happened when Constantine set up Christmas on the 25th of December, the same date as the Sun Worshipers festival of Sol Invictus, the day of the invincible Sun.

The entire calendar is a Solar Calendar invented by Julius Caesar and amended for some minor errors by Pope Gregory in 1582, thus the Catholic Church endorsed a Sun Worshipers Calendar, and most Christians churches have followed their lead ever since.

Yet God says that Spring shall be the beginning of Months for you:

Exodus 12:2 This month shall be to you the beginning of months. It shall be the first month of the year to you.

Why do you worship the Sun by following the Sun Worshipers calendar, when God says to worship him and to use the calendar that he endorsed?
